Louis Vanhaverbeke investigates the relation between language, movement and fumbling. This young choreographer/performer talks, thinks and sings to make his way through the room. Is the relation between body and mind reunited, concurred, challenged or just forgotten? Kokokito is a multi-attempt to expand the brain.
This presentation is the result of a one-month-residence at CAMPO. Kokokito has its origin in Kokito, a former performance that Vanhaverbeke made for Bâtard Festival. In 2014, he won the Krisztina de Châtel Award for most promising choreographer on the ITs-festival of Amsterdam.
In 2016, Louis also created the CAMPO-production MULTIVERSE.
