Camping Sunset is a theater collective founded in 2019 by a group of recent graduates and graduating players. The collective creates site-specific performances that, after a short rehearsal period, continue to grow into an intense and lengthy period of play for audiences. In their performances, they strive for approachability and inclusion so that any established or future theater lover and everyone in between can feel welcome.

Camping Sunset creates and performs mainly in the summer: on August 25, 2019, the players premiered Maxim Gorki's play Zomergasten, in August 2020 they started working on Happiness, a film script by Todd Solondz, at De Wasserij in Ghent, and in the summer of 2021 they took on TEN OORLOG, after Tom Lanoye's text in three parts in Ghent, at Theater Aan Zee in Ostend and at Het TheaterFestival in Antwerp. As a cherry on top, they then returned to each city for marathon performances.

Camping Sunset is working on a new project that will be seen in the winter of 2023.
