Gerben Vaillant, remember that name! This interdisciplinary performance artist graduated from the renowned Mime Opleiding in Amsterdam in 2021. Since then, he has been thrilling audiences with his almost cinematic universe. In on almost every page, four performers explore the distance between humans and reality. How do we find our place within a larger whole?

The lonely paintings of empty rooms by German artist Ben Willekens are an important source of inspiration. As are a failing relationship, the marginal art of pantomime and the endless procession of people leaving after a failed one-night stand. A performance that is both sexy and lonesome, in which the constant interchangeability of people and things becomes palpable, while at the same time the performers have everything and nothing to lose. 

On almost every page is a unique, visual and physical performance. The Dutch press was unanimously enthusiastic. Now also in Ghent: a gem not to be missed!
