Louis Janssens and Ferre Marnef are both graduates of KASK, in drama and graphic design respectively, and for a few years now have been pursuing their common path under the name of Desnor. They make visual theatre with a healthy dose of humour and social criticism. By deconstructing The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann, they present their own version of this bildungsroman. It is not the development of a young hero that plays a central role, but the emphasis on different perspectives. The actors zoom out in order to be able to survey the mountain in its entirety.
