Young artists will give everything for applause... In Kein Applaus für Scheiße Florentina Holzinger (AT) and Vincent Riebeek (NL) are flirting with the limits of everything that is possible on stage, referring to the canon of 1970s performance art. The result is a surprising portrait of contemporary pop culture’s rich tapestry: an intangible mixture of dance, trashy pop, theatre, roller skating interludes, acrobatics and performance. A choreography that constantly risks losing its balance when one of the two performers flagrantly tries to hog the stage for the closing applause.

"They do it differently. They turn the rules upside down. they don’t give a shit about conventional standards. Jesus, if only we could experience this freedom just for one day in our life."  Evelyne Coussens, Zone09/
