Five theatre makers and a camera woman try to provide an answer to an excess of meaningless pastime through a sitcom about twenty-somethings. As they fight content with more content, the line between fact and fiction blurs. With FoyerTV | S1:E1 | Pilot, FoyerTV (Toon Acke & Pieter van Dijk) touches on the growing sense of anxiety in our time; fear of being forgotten, of missing something, of being expendable or unsuccessful. Thus, FoyerTV | S1:E1 | Pilot depicts a generation absorbed in the images that surround them: from home video to Hollywood, from philosopher Mark Fisher to Friends.
