Research trajectories

CAMPO supports energing artists with an extensive trajectory for artistic research. During this process, we provide (technical) rehearsal space, artistic guidance, financial support and administrative advice. A few times a year, we host Open Studio days.

Some of these trajectories are realised in collaboration with a partner. This offers the artist the chance to collaborate with partner afterwards, for example in making a production. We consider these trajectories as akin to a ‘chair’, by analogy with the academic world, where someone carries out research funded by an external partner. In this way, we stimulate sustainable artistic practices, while simultaneously providing a solution for the lack of research time or space among some of our partners.
