A quest for a foothold in a world where the end keeps announcing itself. Banal, merciless, and inscrutably furious

On stage stands a billboard bearing just two words: THE END. The performance begins with these final words.

Three characters carry this world. A solitary technician who begins to build in the light of the billboard, his doppelgänger who – against his better judgement – helps him build, and a stagehand who, with blinders on, continues to do his rounds. Averse to any kind of ending.
Water finds its way, straw blows about, clay turns to stone.

With humor, imagination, and physical precision, the performers search for footing in a world that rages relentlessly and remains unfathomable. The result is a performance about human resilience, in which light and darkness, hope and adversity are intertwined in a single whimsical movement.
