Stoelen en Banken

Stoelen en Banken is a musical trio that emerged from the production Out of Hands. Two of the members met during the creative process, where their artistic connection was so strong that they have been inseparable ever since. This is how they describe themselves:

"Stoelen en Banken isn’t a band; it’s an interior structure in ruins. We make music that sounds like a DIY store exploding in slow motion: heavy, messy, yet with precision in every splinter. Don’t expect clean lines or smooth surfaces. We bolt metal to sludge, nail grunge down with rusty jazz, and coat it all in a thick layer of doomgaze. Sometimes slow as a cupboard falling over, sometimes fierce as a loose screwdriver in your face."
