Nathan Ooms & Anna Franziska Jäger - RANT

RANT takes the experience of the internet as an indigestible overload as its starting point—aggressive, chaotic, and frenzied. Jäger & Ooms examine how this excess affects our human condition and shapes our experience. Inspired by the anger of the internet, they transform the rant into music and dances, into a raging ritual.
This performance will premiere on March 10 and 11, 2027, at CAMPO nieuwpoort. During this sharing, you will get an early glimpse into their rehearsal process.
Alia Rifai - My Father Gave Me His Hands

Raised between Jordan and Belgium, Alia Rifai carries two nationalities and a lasting sense of being out of place. After the loss of her father, she searches for connection in what remains: familiar gestures, fragments of language, shared memories, and traces of a home that feels at once deeply familiar and painfully distant.
Through images, projections, and live music, Alia reconstructs her reality, allowing remembering to become a form of creation. Always slightly out of step, unable to fully understand the language of her own country, she confronts the ways language shapes, and sometimes denies, our sense of belonging.
In collaboration with Palestinian musician and performer Ivan Kevork Azazian, My Father Gave Me His Hands reflects on grief, identity, heritage, and the quiet ways we carry those who are no longer here.
During her two-week residency at CAMPO, she explored new text material and physicality, collaborating for this sharing with a team of inspiring creators (Astrid Vansteenkiste, Tuur Verelst, Jens Clerbout, and Aster Henderieckx).

Everyone knows the voice in your head that tells you to do better—the one that corrects, judges, and points out what is going wrong. Sometimes that voice helps you move forward, but other times it becomes relentless and feels like it is constantly working against you.
In take care, Manizja Kouhestani and Laurens Aneca explore the many faces of that inner critic. Automatic thoughts, perfectionism, shame, and fear of failure form the starting point for a solo in which a woman confronts the voice in her head.
