In Version(s), Marseille-based former boxer and poet Christian Nka takes the stage. In a captivating solo, he reflects on his fascinating career and his ambivalent relationship with violence. His commanding presence is supported by music from Chicago-based musician Ben LaMar Gay.

In this production, acclaimed choreographer Dorothée Munyaneza fuses dance, text, and music to create a hybrid space that is part portrait, part ode. For the first time, she confronts the theme of masculinity: a multifaceted identity in constant motion. Version(s) balances at the intersection of intimate confession and a powerful performative gesture. An encounter that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Dorothée Munyaneza is a multidisciplinary artist who uses music, text, and movement to transform personal and historical ruptures into powerful artistic statements. Since founding her company Kadidi in Marseille, she has built an impressive repertoire. She also translated the work of Kae Tempest into French and adapted it for the stage. In 2024, her career was honored with the most prestigious European prize for choreographers: the Salavisa European Dance Award.
