Aday Morales, Aminata Soumaré, Shivadas De Schrijver and Hannah Jamin Zaouad will each present a work in progress of maximum 30 minutes during WIPCOOP Ghent at CAMPO victoria. These makers will show a glimpse into their artistic search and the stories they want to share.

Get ready for a day that touches on a wide range of themes: relational and political power, dancing sounds and quiet rhythms, echoes of a sectarian past, the dark side of tourism, music once silenced, and the power of memory. After each presentation, a small-group conversation with members of the arts field follows. During these breaks, audiences can join Joana Rossi at the roundtable to discuss the work or reflect together with Enrica Camporesi on the artistic “in-between spaces.”

What the WIP? Every year, WIPCOOP presents a work in progress programme rooted in a philosophy of collaboration and long-term commitment. WIPCOOP days mark the beginning of development trajectories supported by MAP and numerous partner organisations.
